Our engaging 1 day challenges, are held at your school or in local parks and woodlands to you. Each programme can be adapted to your age group, abilities and fit around your timetable. We have a staff ratio of 1:15 maximising the benefits of our challenges for your learners

1 Day Challenges
Island Survival

Our Island Survival Challenge - Gives an unforgettable teambuilding and problem solving experience while giving the opportunity to support Creative writing and Story telling skills. Students will complete a series of interactive initiative challenges to gain key items to help them Escape Pedagogy Island. The 1 day program includes our teambuilding challenges, Orienteering, Fire lighting, Shelter building and open fire cooking.
Students will embark on an exciting adventure across Pedagogy Island, a rugged desert island that presents the challenge of escaping its harsh climate and limited resources. Throughout this journey, teams will engage in a series of fun and interactive activities designed enhance their communication and leadership skills. As they work together, they gather essential items such as flint, rope, and food, which will be crucial for their.
After constructing sturdy shelters and cooking on the open flames, students will navigate detailed maps to collect vital components needed for building signal rockets. This hands-on experience will not only foster teamwork but also develop problem-solving skills. They will use go-karts to make their way across a swamp, gather rocket fuel, and launch their rockets in a thrilling attempt to signal for rescue.
This immersive adventure promises to be both educational and unforgettable!
Bushcraft and Ecology Days

Join us for an exciting Woodland/Bushcraft! Immerse yourself in environmental exploration and discover the fascinating world around you while tackling fun challenges that encourage you to think about your impact on the environment. Get ready for an adventurous day filled with learning and discovery!
Get ready for an exciting Bushcraft and Ecology Day that’s all about exploring the environment and inspiring students to think about their impact on nature! On this amazing day, students will dive into biodiversity studies, embark on thrilling scavenger hunts, conduct opal tree surveys, and create stunning art with natural materials.
They'll also enjoy fun activities focused on environmental awareness, along with building shelters and wild cooking adventures!
We recommend hosting these incredible experiences in local woodlands or forests to make the most of every moment!
A Day of Deception: The Spy Challenge

Our Spy theme day will submerse you into the world of espionage. Teams will need to Solve Problems to gain clues and crack the code revealing the identity of the spy in the school. It will stretch your students' teamworking, analytical and problem solving skills.
Using an orienteering course, groups will then use a map and compasses to locate their next mission. Each Mission (team building challenge) differs from the last, some will challenge teams communications skills, others challenging their ability to think outside the box. For each challenge the team will be rewarded with either a clue as to the Spy’s identity.
Students will learn to use maps and compass at the start of the day. Each activity will have a briefing card setting out the rules of the mission. It will then be down to the students to discuss the briefing, develop a plan and execute it. Our friendly staff will be on hand to help and oversee the missions. Teachers are encouraged to come and take part in some of the missions or can observe students as they go. The challenges the students will face will include dismantling unstable reactors, moving hazardous waste, rescuing hidden messages. Driving Get away go-karts, and solving Logic problems as well as some Fire lighting.

Transition Support

Teams will spend the day with working through a progressive series of challenges, working towards a culmination in self-built go kart races.
We recommend for groups from clusters to use the High School grounds, mixing children from different schools in the teams, and using key members of staff from the High School.
Teams will spend an entire day engaged a variety of progressive challenges, working their way up to an exciting finale where they will race go-karts that they have built themselves We suggest that groups from primary school clusters take advantage of the opportunity to mix groups and explore High School grounds for this event, as it will allow children from various schools to collaborate and form teams together.
To enhance the experience, we will enlist the help of future staff to oversee some of the activities, giving students the chance to meet each other as well as some of the teachers they will be with in the future. Additionally, WSP Staff will be on hand throughout the day to ensure that everything runs seamlessly and efficiently.
S.T.E.A.M. Day

Teams will Spend the Day completing a series of tasks that will push their collaborative thinking, analytical and teamwork skills. As part of a friendly competition. Teams will compete to Design, Build and overcome a series of Challenges such as waterbomb catapults, A frame races, Da Vinci's Bridge, Go-Kart races to name a few.

Our outdoor business offers a unique opportunity to develop the young workforce through engaging and progressive team-building, including exhilarating go-kart races and hands rocket building activities. Join us for an adventure that fosters teamwork, creativity, and leadership skills in fun and dynamic environment!

Participants can anticipate thrilling experiences that energize their competitive spirit, along with hands-on building challenges that foster creativity and teamwork. Throughout these exciting activities, they will earn Wild School Pounds, serving as a motivating reward for their accomplishments. These earned rewards can then be utilized to unlock more challenging and fulfilling experiences, ultimately leading to the opportunity to purchase go-kart kits. With these kits, participants can express their creativity by constructing their own karts and racing them around the track, creating an unforgettable experience that seamlessly combines learning with fun and games.

Adventure Day

Our Adventure day's are Student focused, with the help of a Qualified instructor, Students will choose where they go, What they want to do and lead the interest of their day. The focus is very much Exploration and discovery. Teams may spend the day exploring streams and woodlands, building shelters and lighting fires to Climbing local hills and discovering the depth of muddy puddles.
Rock Climbing and Abseiling

Our Rock Climbing Adventures will take your students to new heights. We use Climbing locations with in your local area. Rock climbing is a fantastic way to develop students confidence and dynamic problem solving skills, while working together to keep each other safe.
Canoeing

Our Canoe Adventures are a fantastic way to explore your local rivers and lochs. with a water journey at the heart of adventure, students will explore the coast lines of their local lochs or enjoy the serenity of local rivers looking out for wild life and understanding the aquatic ecosystem while working towards their Paddle power qualifications
Stand up Paddle Boarding (SUP)

Our Stand up Paddleboard sessions are a great way to explore the lochs, rivers and canals of Scotland. Allowing students to get up close and personal with their environment while working towards a Paddle power qualification
Hill and Mountain Walking

Our Hill and Mountain Walking days are a great way to bring to life and give context to your class room learning. A typical day will have students developing their math skills through learning to Navigate using maps and Compasses, Improving Literacy by exploring the rich landscapes about them help to unlock their creative thinking all while potentially completing their first Munro and developing resilince and confidence

Our Mountain Biking Days Will Take your Students on Local Tracks and trails Exploring the hills, woodlands and nature arround them. Our Rides are practical for all riders and focus on a journey rather than technical decents.
Improvised Rafting

The Ultimate Test in Teamwork and problem solving. Usually paired with an activity like paddle boarding our improvised raft challenge pushes students to get creative with their materials and build something to explore their local water ways on.
Incident Hike

Our Incident Hike Blends Our Challenge Day Programs and Adventures programs by Challenging Students to Navigate on an orienteering style course where at each location students have to complete short team challenges.
This can be done on foot or using craft such as the canoes and bikes
